A cracked, stained, or structurally compromised bathtub isn't just an eyesore it can become a water intrusion problem if the damage reaches the subfloor or surrounding walls. When refinishing no longer makes sense or the tub itself has reached the end of its useful life, a full replacement is the right move. Water Heater Co. handles bathtub replacement in New Orleans, LA from start to finish removing the old tub, inspecting the surrounding area for any hidden water damage, and installing the new unit with proper waterproofing and sealing.
We work with a range of replacement tub options depending on your bathroom layout, plumbing connections, and budget. Whether you're doing a straightforward swap for a standard alcove tub or transitioning to a different style, our technicians make sure the new tub fits properly, drains correctly, and is sealed against leaks before the job is done. If we find any water damage behind the walls or under the floor during removal, we'll flag it immediately because installing a new tub over hidden rot isn't something we're willing to do.
